Barber Pole / Spiral Decorative Wraps For Rod Building Tutorial + Tips!
This will be an easy decorative rod building wraps tutorial video. Some people call these easy to make decorative wraps spiral wraps and some people call them barber pole wraps. What you call them doesn't matter so much, but they sure are nice looking in my opinion! I thought I would do a video on these decorative wraps because they are pretty easy to do and it would give me a chance to share some tips and go over a little bit about the layout process for decorative wraps. You can use different methods to lay these wraps out, but if you use a quadrant/measurement method like I show in this video, you will be well on your way to learning how layouts work for more complex wraps like diamond wraps or chevron wraps. In the video, I briefly show how to use tape to lay out you 4 quadrants of the rod, but I really think it is a good idea to use the rod building tools I showed how to make in previous videos for layout work. These tools are easy to make and very handy to have for rod building. They are all used in the layout of this wrap as I show in this video.
