Аннотация: Использование трансгенных животных - это главный ресурс для молекулярно-биологических и медицинских исследований. Получают генно-модифицированных животных разными методами и протоколами. Одним из новых и перспективных методов является использование вирусных конструкций для изменения судеб клеток как в развитии так и у взрослых животных, в том числе и человека. Эти технологии могут помочь в лечении широкого спектра заболеваний, но при условии надзора и соблюдении правил природы, этики и безопасности.

Abstract: The use of transgenic animals is a major resource for molecular biological and medical research. Genetically modified animals are obtained by various methods and protocols. One of the new and promising methods is the use of viral constructs to change the course of cell life both in development and in adult animals, including humans. These technologies can help treat a wide range of diseases, but subject to surveillance and compliance with the rules of nature, ethics and safety.

The Department of Physics and Engineering of ITMO University (Saint Petersburg, Russia) hosts online weekly seminars to discuss recent scientific achievements of researchers from all over the world with a wide audience. The topics include experimental (Optical seminar) and theoretical (Theoretical seminar) aspects of nanophotonics, solid-state physics, material science, as well as design and applications of radiofrequency structures and devices (Microwave seminar).
