Head to California Whitewater Guide School with OARS and take a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to train to be a river guide.

The third episode of “Guide School'" follows our group of aspiring river guides through various swiftwater rescue training scenarios before they head downstream to try their luck at Troublemaker Rapid on the South Fork of the American River. As they crash and burn in this notorious rapid, they find out that every flip and swim is a learning opportunity—both about the river and themselves.
