July Update | 2017 Watermelon Growing

After the last update, we discovered a third 'Klondike Stripe Blue Ribbon' watermelon hiding underneath the daisy and bramble that has since been cleared back. It looks like the watermelons will not be getting any bigger. At this point, we are waiting on them to ripen.

In this update, we also look at the fruit set of a 'Sugar Baby' watermelon and a promising looking 'Moon & Stars' plant. Lastly, we have some plants from a late June sowing that we hope will make up for their respective counterpart's slow start.
