SHROPSHIRE Bilbatch, The Long Mynd

Bilbatch is one of approx 10 (depending upon how you count them) Batches/Hollows/Valleys that run away from the plateau of The Long Mynd. Interestingly it is the only one on the western side, the others all facing the east

I stated this walk at Ratlinghope and made my way along the lane towards Coates. From there I headed up towards the Long Mynd walking alongside the southern edge of Bilbatch. I then crossed towards Shooting Box which is alongside the road which leads back down the northern side of Bilbatch, back towards Ratlinghope
