Newly Released CLF2 goes for a round around our home layout, hauling a mixture of wagons around the hilly South Australian Countryside. We're skipping the generic review-type video and the voice-over commentary in this one so you can better listen to this stunning engine's beautiful twin-speaker DCC Sound!

The Model comes ready to run with DCC Sound from an ESU LokSound V5 21-pin decoder. Having been released in late January 2025, it's Australia's newest HO Scale Model locomotive on the market and it's undoubtedly state of the art in design, features/functions and running reliability.

CLF2 began operating in the Orange colours in the early 2000s, then with the Australian Southern Railroad decals until 2003, when Australian Railroad Group decals took over. From 2007, the locomotive became a logo-less orange livery when the ARG decals were removed. The locomotive saw use in its ARG era, operating between Melbourne and Adelaide on P&O AM6/MA6 Services, Grain Services in South Australia, throughout New South Wales on a mixture of services and on Melbourne to Brisbane Container services.
