1936 Maytag wringer washer

Описание к видео 1936 Maytag wringer washer

Mechanical restoration of a 1936 Maytag Model 30/31 wringer washer, at the BC Farm Museum (Fort Langley, BC., Canada). Typically, I do complete restorations, including painting. But with this project, we decided to leave the machine with its 86-plus years of patina! It will make a good "before-and-after" comparison with the other machine that I fully restored in 2017.

Note: correction on a couple of items...this restoration took 5 days to complete, rather then 6 as I stated at the beginning of the video, for a total of 27.5 hours.
Also...reference to "ATV" gasket making material, should be "RTV" (room temperature vulcanizing). I used Permatex black on the top wringer roll.
