OFF GRID: Parenting and Cooking on the Fire. Ep.7

Finding a balance between bringing my child up off grid and also into a world that is tech heavy. We have created a lot of different activities for Kaylee to do outside which helps massively in keeping her off screen. I understand that screens are a big part of our ever changing (and scary) world but, I also understand the importance of a childhood grounded in nature and the real world. 4.5 months into our off grid lifestyle change and already we have seen big improvements in Kaylee's overall attitude zest for life.

I try cooking on the fire for the first time. This week; Minestrone soup with beef cheek. See video for the full recipe. Next week I'll bring you full tiny house tour many of you have been asking for and lasagna campfire style.
