Two MEI hydraulic elevators at Springfield Town Center (management elevators) in Springfield VA

(02/25/2023) These are two MEI hydraulic elevators at the Springfield Town Center management corridor in Springfield VA. This is a rather interesting layout because there's a small freight elevator on the left and a normal passenger elevator on the right. They both have really good motors.

The freight elevator here is the cleanest in the entire mall unlike some of the other ones here which have a tendency to be a disaster. The passenger one apparently has the ability to go to the penthouse floor, but it doesn't work. Only the freight elevator on the left corridor of the Macy's gives you the ability to go to the penthouse.

I'm not gonna put my no sneaking into unauthorized areas disclaimer for this video as these go to the management office. However, don't make a habit of riding these as regular passenger elevators as that's not what these are intended for. That's why there's a sign on the corridor entry telling you to use the KONE MonoSpace elevator directly across from it.
