Kusudama (flower ball) is traditionally made by origami folding. It is a very popular craft for decoration, although the solid construction inside the sphere makes it impossible to be used as a lamp or lantern.

In the video tutorial, I will share with you a simple template, together with a paper cup and starry string LED fairy lights, for the light display of kusudama. This DIY night light can be used as a table lamp, desk lamp or bedside lamp.
