Longplay: Rally-X - one loop playthrough with commentary

Hi guys. Here is another Namco arcade LP. Rally-X was released in 1980. It's a racing-action game where you drive your car in a maze course to collect ten flags within a fuel limit while avoiding rocks & aggressive red car racers. Compared to New Rally-X, which was released shortly after in 1981, Rally-X original is very difficult. There are a lot of elements in it that make New Rally-X vastly superior to it as I explain in the video. Still iconic for being the first game to feature the memorable Special Flag sprite!

Remember - I'm not a master player. Bad parts were cut out in the final video.

This was recorded with OBS Studio & edited with CapCut. The game logo I borrowed for the intro is owned by Namco. I made the car animation with Microsoft Paint.

This will be the final video on my channel to be in the CapCut format unless I can get a more powerful computer with much more memory. Later LPs I do will be like the Mega Man 6 LP I did earlier with OBS Studio & Screen Recorder.
