During the 2024-25 program year at Westminster, Adult Education is exploring the Newer Testament. This class on November 17, 2024, examined the Apostle Paul, his letters, and his legacy.

Apart from Jesus, probably no one surpasses Paul in terms of his influence on the world’s understanding of what Christian faith is about. Paul traveled thousands of miles with a burning desire to tell everyone that Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection had turned to page to commence a new and culminating chapter in human history We encounter Paul and his perspectives on Jesus through letters he wrote to Christian communities during the first century. Where did Paul get his ideas? Why did he write letters? Why did he think people should listen to him? How has this controversial evangelist been remembered, and how should he be?
