The Fall of a Man Ruled by Desire
Moral : that a man who falls under the power of a woman will not prosper, will be criticized in both this life and the next, and will ultimately face ruin.

The story begins with Kunala, the cuckoo king, a beautiful bird living in the Himavanta forest. He is diligently served by 3,500 female birds, yet he constantly insults them.

(07:57) In contrast, Punnamukha the cuckoo, a friend of Kunala, is cared for by 350 female birds and always praises them.

(14:15) When Punnamukha falls gravely ill, his attendants abandon him and flee to Kunala, who scolds them for their ingratitude and disloyalty.

(15:52) Kunala nurses Punnamukha back to health and then delivers a grand sermon to point out the faults of women.

(17:40) Kunala cites examples from past lives, such as Queen Kanha who had five husbands but still desired a sixth man, to illustrate the insatiability and untrustworthiness of women.

(22:38) The sermon details numerous faults of women, including 8 reasons why they despise their husbands, 9 ways they bring ruin, 40 methods of seduction, and 25 signs of a treacherous wife.

(31:20) At the assembly, the Vulture King Ananda (the future Ananda) and the hermit Narada (the future Sariputta) recite verses supporting Kunala's sermon, stating that women, like the ocean, can never be filled.
