The Link-Belt RTC 80100 is an outstanding, durable and versatile 100 ton rough terrain crane. The 31' one-piece lattice fly and two-piece bi-fold lattice fly are stowable and offset to 2°, 25°, and 45°. Also available are two optional 15' extensions, increasing fly length to 85'. The 5 section boom is constructed of extra high tensile steel, extending to a range of 40 to 150 feet, with one base and four telescoping sections, for a maximum tip height of 243'. The jib is configurable from 31 to 55 feet. Two removable counterweights pinned to the upper provide capacities up to 24,000 lbs. Powered by a 300 horsepower Detroit Diesel Series 40 engine, the RTC-80100 is capable of a maximum line pull of 21,000 lbs., 430 foot per minute maximum line speed, and enables travel speed up to 18.5 mph. The 95 gallon fuel tank allows for long duration run times. 2 Main Axial piston Winches feature 2-speed motors driven through a planetary reduction unit for positive control under all load conditions. The winches have a wire rope capacity of 850 ft in the front and 500 ft in the rear, with a Maximum storage of 951 ft. The steering is comprised of four independent modes: two wheel front, four wheel rear, six wheel, and crab, each controlled from the steering wheel. Outriggers consist of four single stage beams with Confined Area Lifting Capacities, with extensions lengths of full, intermediate, and retracted. The suspension employs Double “A” arms connected to oscillation cylinders that lockout when the upper structures rotate 3˚ past centerline. The Environmental Cab is fully enclosed, and constructed of galvanneal steel with acoustical insulation.
