Austin 1300 Brake & Clutch Master Cylinders Eps.13 Ado16 & Classic Mini

Feb. 2020 - The master cylinders on the Austin looked fit for the scrap bin but I knew they could probably be restored to their former glory with a bit of work. I could have bought new ones or sent these off to a specialist for bead blasting/plating or coating & rebuild, but the costs for doing this to countless parts in a car restoration, typically mount up to a very hefty bill.
In any case I enjoyed refurbishing these and hopefully this will show what can be achieved with a few DIY tools, some paint and a little effort! (and it's way more satisfying!)
