Idli Batter Crispy Bonda Recipe | Bonda With Leftover Idli Batter



Ingredients:

Idli Batter (thick) – 200 gms
Maida – 1 tbsp
Rice flour – 2 tbsp
Baking soda – ¼ tsp
Onion – 1
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Salt – ½ tsp
Oil – for deep frying

Procedure:

1) Take idli batter into a bowl, add maida, rice flour, baking soda, onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt
2) Mix them well (check the consistency, it should be bonda consistency)
3) Heat oil for deep frying
4) Add small bonda
5) Deep fry them well on medium flame
6) Serve hot with peanut chutney

Note: If you don’t have a measuring cup, regular teacup will be approximately 100 ml (100 gms)
