Alongside Night: The Problem with "Political" Novels

Описание к видео Alongside Night: The Problem with "Political" Novels

As a hardcore libertarian with deep concerns about the inflation we're now seeing, I should be the first person to be sympathetic to J. Neil Schulman cautionary novel of government gone mad. However, as is so often the case, the author's insistence on communicating a political ideology gets in the way of his story, making the book feel more like propaganda than art.

Logan Albright is a writer, economist, musician, occultist, and all around interesting guy living and working in Washington, DC. In his spare time, he reads lots of books and reviews them.
