Paralympics presenter and former Royal Marines commando 'Arthur Williams' gives his appreciation of one of the greatest British aeroplanes of the Second World War, that he believes history has largely forgotten. While the names Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster have been revered and passed into legend, the 'de Havilland Mosquito' languishes in relative obscurity. For Arthur, the aeroplane known as the 'Wooden Wonder' is the plane that saved Britain. Here he meets some of the few remaining men who flew it, tells its extraordinary story and travels to Virginia Beach, Virginia to the Military Aviation Museum to see if he can take to the skies in the world's only remaining flying Mosquito. (There are now four flying - 2024)

Filmed at Military Aviation Museum 2012.
