Twenty four years ago Turok Dinosaur Hunter released for the Nintendo 64 and became an instant hit. This prehistoric retro fps dazzled gamers with its open, explorable environments, hard hitting weapons and fearsome dinosaur foes. While Turok 2 and Turok 3 kept the series relevant it was the lukewarm reception of Turok Evolution and Turok 2008 that caused the series to become dormant. Now, by way of Nightdive Studios, Turok Remaster has come to introduce a whole new generation to everyones favorite dinosaur hunter. Is this Boomer shooter still worth playing today? Turok Dinosaur Hunter was developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim for the Nintendo 64 and PC. Turok Remastered was developed and published by Nightdive Studios and is available for PC, Mac, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
