Learn how to craft a DIY trick-or-treat container using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY crafter and taper, Karen Kavett. This trick-or-treat container was made using Glow-in-the-Dark Duck Tape and a purple, fuchsia, and neon green color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose.

Black Duck Tape

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
Paper Bag
Ruler
Scissors
Craft Knife
Pen
Patterns
Craft Board

INSTRUCTIONS
(00:39) Measure 8.5 inches from the bottom of your paper bag on each side, connect the two points with your ruler, and cut the bag in half.
(01:11) Cover the inside and outside of the bag with different colors of Duck Tape.
(01:18) To make the bag more fun, cut a zig zag pattern in the top of the bag. To make each triangle even, use the first triangle you cut as a pattern for the rest.
(01:35) Outline all of the edges with Glow-in-the-Dark Duck Tape to add a spooky glow to your bag.
(02:49) Make straps that wrap around the bag by cutting two pieces of tape that are 22 inches long, folding them in lengthwise, and attaching the strips together to make a big loop. Repeat this step to make a second strap and attach them to your bag.
(04:36) Add decoration to your trick-or-treat bag with your favorite Duck Tape colors.
