The UK Health Security Agency has health alerts for all of England - meaning a rise in deaths is likely, particularly among over 65s and the vulnerable.

Age UK has urged households to turn their heating on even if they feel they can't afford in - while calling on the government to announce financial help for those who need it.

They've said this should either be a u-turn on the winter fuel payment or through some other mechanism, such as a social tariff.

Labour's previously ruled out changing their mind on winter fuel.
