We had the chance to sit down with Pure Storage to discuss how the company is investing in sustainable technologies that enable organizations to dramatically reduce their energy and carbon footprint as part of the Innovation & Disruption campaign.

As global concerns about sustainability and energy efficiency intensify, Pure remains at the forefront, investing in technologies that enable organizations to dramatically reduce their energy and carbon footprints. In fact, Pure helps customers achieve up to 85% reduction in energy use and carbon emissions compared to competing storage solutions.

To contextualize Pure Storage’s impact, consider that over 80% of data in data centers remains trapped on magnetic hard disks. Replacing that 80% of hard disk storage with Pure has the ability to reduce total data center power utilization by roughly 20%. Additionally, the potential global energy savings opportunity that Pure is pursuing could be as much as 370.5 TWh by 2030 - enough energy to power 31 million homes on the US for an entire year!
