"Init" - Start of a 29 Kit Challenge with Digitakt 2! | Digitakt 2, Perfourmer | 29 Kits

Well firstly, this is my first jam with the amazing Vermona PerFourMer Mk2 which I have always wanted and here it is :) Very excited for this combo. A brand new sampler, and a 12 year old analog synth. And of course me being me, the first jam I do is some explosive techno banger when it's such a sweet sounding synth for softer things... But as you can see, I can make anything scream :D

Secondly, you'll notice from the title that I have decided to start myself on a little "challenge" akin to Jamuary, just for something to do and as an exercise to practice and get familiar with the new setup. The Digitakt 2 has a ton of amazing samples loaded on as well as 29 pre-set kits you can load, and they sound great. I decided it would be fun to do a jam for each of them in roughly 29 days (I won't be strict and might wander for a video or two). The only restrictions are that I can't change any samples loaded, I can only tweak the sound with the various parameters, which can of course completely change the sound of everything. And naturally I'll be replacing tracks with the P4! This is the Init kit, which every pattern defaults to!

Anyways, more about this soon as I'll probably do a short talking video.

Hope you enjoy my first attempt here, be kind as I am still learning both instruments! The Digitakt pattern is VERY basic, I just wanted a simple pumping beat for an arp to play with the P4.

(Also PS the Echosystem wasn't working for me, I returned it and have the Empress Reverb coming instead as I was able to try that by swapping the firmware in the ES and I love how it sounds!)
