CBI Challenges Delhi HC Stay On Withdrawal Of Airport Alert Against Aakar Patel | Latest News

A week ago, the Delhi High Court upheld the lookout order against Aakar Patel; that is, the airport alert against the Amnesty International India ex-chief was withdrawn. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has now filed to challenge the special CBI court order and asked to stay on alert. The court had also ordered the CBI director to send a formal apology to Patel, acknowledging his subordinate's error. The apology, as stated by the court, would help in restoring public confidence in the premier institution.
