Sagittarius and Sagittarius do make a lovely, what I call the playful relationship. The sense of play is very important in this because both Sagittarians are looking at life and for a life that is adventurous and exciting and free-spirited. They are very mental in their approach, in the sense that they like to think about things and learn things and discover new things.

Both of them are fire signs, so there is a great deal of passion there. Now, the passion between two Sagittarians also tends to have a playfullness to it. They are enjoyers of life and of sex, and of each other. They're the kind of couple where they love making love outdoors rather than all enclosed in a hot and steamy bedroom. There is a sense, again, of adventurism.

The problem with two Sagittarians is that they are so independent. Basically, because they are so alike, the relationship tends, after a time, to become perhaps a little hoe-hum. They know what to expect because the other gives each what they are looking for, and therefore that quality of the unexpected, the excitement, it can die down. Then there isn't too much in common as far as pursuits that bring in the reality.

When I talk of reality, of course I talk of being practical, of making money, of attending to one's career, creating a stable home life. These are not exactly Sagittarian pursuits. A Sagittarian works well with someone who can provide that. But two Sagittarians tend to be too adventurous and too free-spirited to settle down.
