ཀུན་གླེང་ལས་རིམ་དུ་དངོས་བྱུང་གློག་གརྙན་ནང་བོད་ནས་བཙན་བྱོལ་དུ་སླེབས་པའི་འཆི་མེད་ལྷ་མོ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་ཤོག་གྲངས་བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་ཡོད་པའི་རྒྱུད་གསུམ་བློ་རྒྱུགས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཕུལ་པ་དེ་བརྒྱུད་། སྨན་སློབ་ཅིག་གིས་བོད་ཀྱི་ཐུན་མོང་མ་ཡིན་པའི་སྲོལ་རྒྱུན་སྨན་པའི་སློབ་གཉེར་བྱེད་ཚུལ་ཟུར་ཙམ་ཞིག་འབུར་ཐོན་ཞུས་ཡོད།།
Memorization of root texts is one of the unique ways of traditional Tibetan studies. This unique tradition of study has been preserved and practiced in exile. Chemi Lhamo, who graduated this year from Tibetan Medical and Astro college in is one of only few who pass the oral exams successfully, able to memorize the whole root texts of the Tibetan Medicine written by the founder of Tibetan Medicine, Yuthok Yonten Gonpo.
