Remodelling our Bathroom to have a Bathtub and Shower! AVHQ House Remodel

We gutted the entire bathroom with intentions to remodel it. It's taking a lot longer than anticipated but it's worth it! We started hanging cement board, aka hardie board on the bare walls. Shortly after getting those cut and placed on the studs we were ready to water proof the walls. We used Redgard, which is a water proofing membrane, some water proofing membrane tape, mud and cement board joint tape, to get a good deal on the walls. Once the walls were mudded and sealed, it was time for the water leak check. We successfully passed it with flying colors so to say. Next time, we'll be preparing for building a frame for the front of the tub and tiling the walls.
