Markers: The primary tools for rendering, usually alcohol-based markers like Copic or Prismacolor, as they blend easily and provide rich color saturation.

Paper: A smooth, high-quality paper (like marker paper or Bristol board) is essential for marker illustration, as it allows the ink to flow smoothly without bleeding.

Pencils: Used for sketching out the initial design before inking and coloring.

Fine Liners: For outlining details after the base colors are applied.

Blending Tools: These can be colorless markers or blending pens that help to create smooth gradients and transitions in color.
