Simple Sunday #33 - Five Item Crafting featuring Stampin' Up! Hearts & Hugs

This post comes with a warning – the contents of this week (and next week’s) featured stamp set are so cute, your heart may just burst!

My Simple Sundays usually utilise smaller features because of the 3” x 3” square in which I liked to showcase the design. But I just couldn’t ignore the Walrus’ snuggling together. As I limit myself to Tuxedo Black Memento and just one other colour, I had to think of creative ways in which to make them the focal point of my card.

One of my favourite things to do is stamp backgrounds from random stamps included in a set – this time, the teeny tiny heart stamp with a little help from some Petunia Pop created a pretty back drop for the Walrus.

Because of the patterned background, the Walrus pop from the card and because of how they’re snuggling, I felt it was only apt that I used the sentiment ‘I could just hug you’, which I snipped between each word to stick across the top of the card.

SIMPLE SUNDAY RULES
Five item crafting: The stamp set plus four items can be used to create the final project.
A basic craft kit can be used alongside (clear blocks, scissors, trimmer, adhesive etc.)
Only one colour, plus black can be included in the final project.
All Simple Sundays must have the project contained on a white 3" x 3" matt, which is then layered onto a white card base.
