Ahead of next week’s Big 12 football media days, Colorado announced Monday the four players who will join head coach Deion Sanders in Las Vegas.

Representatives from all 16 Big 12 teams are scheduled to speak with reporters at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, during the two-day event from June 9-10. The Buffs will take the stage on Wednesday, July 10, along with Kansas, Arizona, Baylor, UCF, BYU, West Virginia and Houston.

Sanders didn’t attend the final Pac-12 media day last year because he was recovering from surgeries. Former defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, now an assistant with the Auburn Tigers, repped the Buffs alongside quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way player Travis Hunter.

Shilo Sanders didn’t make the trip to Vegas last summer for Colorado’s final Pac-12 media day, but the hard-hitting safety will be repping the Buffs this year.


For the second straight year, two-way superstar Travis Hunter will speak to a wide range of reporters in Las Vegas.

Mark Vassett will be one of two Big 12 punters headed to Las Vegas, joining Cincinnati’s Mason Fletcher.
