This talk is geared to show how the greatest achievers in life are able to tap into their full potential because they fully realized the power of their minds. The science of the mind is at times tough to understand (Quantum Mechanics), but this talk breaks down through years and years of observation why the great ones are able to do what the average human can’t. The power of their mind, and the belief that they can do anything they put their mind to. From NBA and NFL players to high-achieving corporate executives I work with, they all have the same mindset; they believe in themselves more than anyone could NOT believe in them. The amount of time they spend on their bodies, they spend equal or more time on their minds through meditation, mindfulness, and self-reflection. I am here to teach the masses the secrets of the great ones and share them with the world so we can ALL tap into our full potential as Human Beings. Derick Grant is a Former Professional Athlete, Public Speaker, Transformational Mindset Coach & Author. His passion and purpose are to help people in life. He was fortunate to travel to 70 countries playing 8 years for the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. He is the CEO of Results Leadership Development Inc, a Transformational Life Coaching Firm. He changes lives from the inside-out. From working with world-class athletes, and in his own life, he has found the only thing that separates the good from the great is their mindset. He believes We all have the potential, but few know how to tap into their full potential of an “I can do anything” mindset. He is on a mission for the rest of his time here on this earth to teach young people, how to live out their lives with a smile on their face without having to try and please the world. Diving inward through meditation, mindfulness, and self-reflection so they can see who they are, but more importantly who they are not. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
