Large blue butterflies at Daneway Banks

Описание к видео Large blue butterflies at Daneway Banks

Join us on a tour of Daneway Banks nature reserve looking for the once extinct large blue butterfly.

The large blue population declined dramatically in the twentieth century and was declared extinct in 1979. However, thanks to recent reintroductions and conservation grazing, this beautiful butterfly is once again flying through Gloucestershire.

We’d like to thank The Royal Entomological Society and the Large Blue Committee for their help and support on this project.
