This was our first visit to a stage of the Le Tour de France. We were a bit apprehensive about what to do. Turned out there was no need to be because the French are very relaxed about it.
If you want to watch the bike race, you're probably best off staying at home and watching it on the tv but if you want to sample the great atmosphere of the build up and the occasion, then a visit is well worth it.
