I Died At 13 And Experienced Bliss: From NDE to Spiritual Awakening & Becoming a Monk

When he was only 13 years old, Ishtar Howell died in a tragic car crash in which he lost his mother, went through a near-death experience, and embraced wholeness and bliss, setting him on a path of spiritual awakening that ultimately led him to become an Ishaya monk.

Ishtar´s childhood was filled with high strangeness and mystical experiences, anchored in the sense of a unity with all things. This unity faded at around age 7. Then, five years after his NDE, he learned a meditation practice called the Ishayas’ Ascension, and shortly thereafter entered an ashram and became a monk, spending long periods of time in meditative retreat. The Wholeness of early childhood and the near-death experience was rediscovered through meditation.
He presently helps people recognize Awareness and relax into the Wholeness that is already here. He also works as an evolutionary astrologer, connecting people to their guiding myths and dharmic purpose.
