Run-Out Beams on Bridge Cranes are an accessory to either an under-running bridge crane or a monorail system and provide a telescopic reach to extend the lifting coverage beyond the span of a crane bay or the end of a monorail. They very effectively allow for reaching outside, through a doorway, and still allow the door to be properly sealed when the run-out is fully retracted.
