An Impossible Bowl - Multi Axis Wood Turning

Описание к видео An Impossible Bowl - Multi Axis Wood Turning

Welcome welcome! In this video I will be making an impossible emerging bowl in a board. The timber is Basswood (Linden/Lime) and it was shaped using multi axis wood turning techniques and the lathe.

Mounted either by worm screw or tenon this piece was turned on two separate axis using my bowl gouge, beading tool and parting tool and due to the shape, speed and general pointiness of the board when spinning, mainly sanded by hand.
