'Trooper in a truck': Indiana State Police officers try new approach to curb distracted driving

In an effort to decrease accidents with Semi trucks. State Troopers in Southern Indiana are implementing a new initiative. It's called Trooper in a Truck.

It is meant to bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving and driving too close to a commercial vehicle.

"The majority of our tractors are equipped with cameras and we see this daily," express John McCue with Sodrel Truck lines. " It's a constant. and unfortunately, they're not forgiving. So someone ends up getting hurt.''
