Ray Noble and his Orchestra - That's What Life Is Made Of 1933

Since I started this channel I have gotten so many great comments on my records and restorations, so I need to thank all of you who subscribe and love listening to the dance music of the 1930s. Every time I can bring you enjoyment with one of these tunes from the past it brings a big smile on my face.

Yesterday I had prepared 3 titles for upload, and "That's What Life Is Made Of" was among them. But then I thought that this record just wasn't in good enough shape to be presented on YouTube. I even had to repair a needle dig that was so deep that the stylus jumped grooves and I had to stand there with a little brush gently pushing the tonearm so the needle would stay in the correct groove! So I didn't upload it.

But this morning I had what I call "record collector's remorse" and I thought: This Ray Noble composition is hardly ever heard, and it is such a great tune that I still have to put it on, just for my friends to hear it.

So here it is, enjoy it; I tried to get the best sound out of a worn record, and the record is worn for obvious reasons, it is that good!

By the way - right before the vocal chorus starts you will find out why your music teacher told you to practice your chromatic scales!
