Hobi had always been on the slender side. But he returned from the military with a different kind of slender.

Hobi definitely gained more muscle after his mandatory service. But he downplays his post-military physique, catching us off guard when we see his body. In fact, when Sana highlighted how great he looked in his "Killin' It Girl" photos, Hobi immediately pointed out his flaw. With the entertainment industry being obsessed with body and visuals, Hobi's admission was a breath of fresh air.

The reason Hobi downplays his new physique is that he probably did not expect much from his workout. Hobi explained that his thin wrists made it hard for him to lift heavy weights. He shared the same thing during his interview with Sana. But Hobi's "thin wrists" didn't stop him from lifting weights. In fact, as I was editing this video, Hobi uploaded an update to Instagram, and this was one of the photos he shared. Clearly, Hobi's arms are delicious... I mean, firm.

Hobi did what he could with his workout, but he knew he couldn't be as buff as Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jungkook. So instead of lifting heavier weights, Hobi found some alternatives to enhance his arm muscles. He decided to focus on his core instead of getting buff like his members. And those core exercises led to Hobi's "Killin' It Girl" abs. Even Hobi was shocked! But Hobi being Hobi, he downplayed his fit physique and got shy when the director praised him.

While Hobi may struggle with lifting heavier weights due to his thin wrists. There's one part of his body that he has no problem growing muscle on. Stop staring in that direction, I was talking about his legs! lol Anyway, as I was saying. Being a dancer for almost all his life, Hobi's legs are firm and strong. So when he ran 10km a day to get a day off in the military, Hobi's calves became huge. So big that his mom mentioned it to him. Hobi is known for his incredible body proportion, and he made sure to keep it that way.
