Today I will introduce how to use a heart rate monitor as a power meter to ride on ZWIFT or outside. This is a great way to start using ZWIFT on a budget and you can get accurate power data cheaply without buying an expensive power meter.

Can you really convert heart rate data into power meter data?

HR2VP is an app which transforms your heart rate monitor to a power meter by using an algorithm they developed, which is fine tuned to convert heart rate data into power data for both cycling or running.

The 50W lower limit is only for indoor cycling to keep the character moving and it can be removed by activating the GPS (outdoor mode).
