With the help of this video, we'll be demonstrating how to refill Canon PFI Series Ink Cartridges of Canon TA Series printers easily with Splashjet Refillable Ink.
The demonstrated method is suitable with any PFI original cartridge or compatible cartridge.

0:07 What does the process require?
1. 1x60ml and 1x10ml Syringes
2. 2x Sharp Needles
3. Spalshjet Refill Ink
4. Paper Towel / Tissue Paper
5. Canon TA Ink Cartridge - PFI-8030Bk / PFI-030Bk

0:15 How does the process work?
Step 1:
The refill process takes place from the 2 exit ports at the bottom.
Step 2:
Insert the small syringe through the cartridge exit seal in the hole nearer to the center of the cartridge.
Step 3:
Fill the large syringe and insert it through the other hole.
Step 4:
Gently apply pressure on the syringe to refill the cartridge. As the cartridge fills, excess air comes out through the small syringe.

0:43 Important:
The cartridge capacity is 55ml. If you fill the cartridge completely the excess ink will start to come out from the small syringe. If this happens, plunge about 5ml of ink out of the cartridge.

If you are using a different capacity syringe then follow the steps accordingly to refill the cartridge.

01:11 After Refill Process
1. Remove the syringes from the cartridge. And wipe out the ink (if there's any) with a paper towel / Tissue Paper.
2. Shake the cartridge to see if the exit seal is intact. If the cartridge is leaking, it should not be installed in the printer.
3. After refilling the cartridge, ensure that the ink level detection is disabled. Else it will remain where they were before refilling.
