Roland D-20 v D-50 pt 1: Comparing sounds, sound demo

Opening the new year with a sound comparison between the #RolandD20 synth from the end of 1988 and the #RolandD50 from 1987 in order to see how much they differ in sound. Tell me what you think in the comment, thanks!

In November I spotted this old synth with issues offered at a low price, since it had some issues. Since I've had the big brother Roland D-50 I was curious to hear, if the #rolandd20 would sound the same or maybe better, having been released 2 years after the D-50. I was not too impressed with the D-20 at the time, since I had no need for a sequencer and did not understand multi-timbrality. It just felt like a lesser D-50.

Now I'm giving both synths a sound demo run together, looking for sounds that sound similar, so you can hear the differences more clearly. In part 1 I pick out sounds mostly namned the same from both synths, in part 2 I will test a few sounds that someone made trying to imitate D-20 sounds on the D-50.
