The 126-foot long Miss Dania Beach was a former Canadian Navy anti-submarine patrol vessel, which was scuttled as an artificial reef on May 29, 2004. The 210-ton vessel was sunk during Dania Beach's centennial celebration, though the reef was later dedicated to the memory of Robert E. Derecktor, a well-known local shipbuilder, whose company Derecktor Shipyards donated the vessel. The Miss Dania Beach n o w rests in 70 feet of water in close proximity to the 55-foot long former LCM Emmi Boggs, the 40-foot long former yacht Summerfield, and the tug Donal G. McAllister.

Take a look at the fascinating dive that depicts this former "Porte" Class Canadian Navy ship on its final resting place in Florida.
