OLGA JEVRIĆ - Phyllida Barlow and Richard Deacon in discussion at PEER

In conjunction with PEER's acclaimed exhibition of Olga Jevrić’s work, Phyllida Barlow and Richard Deacon have generously agreed to take part in an in-conversation about the artist’s work.

Both Barlow and Deacon have generously contributed their ideas to the selection of works and the exhibition design at PEER alongside co-curator Fedja Klikovac, Director at Handel Street Projects, London. Both Barlow and Deacon have also written essays for the first English language publication about Jevrić’s work, which will be launched later this autumn.

Deacon knew Jevrić and visited her studio on a number of occasions so he shared his personal and intimate knowledge of the artist’s work, while Barlow offered her insights into Jevrić’s sculpture through the lens of her engagement with form and material, and situating it within the wider context of Post War European art.
