Seychelles vs. Mauritius

If you ever come across the decision "Seychelles or Mauritius?", there are two very different vibes to them.

While Seychelles definitely got the picture perfect beaches, it is craaazy expensive (the most expensive country I've ever been to) and it definitely has a crass contrast between rich and poor. Outside of fancy resorts it is rural Africa. There is no true local cuisine to explore... Despite that one can't really afford it anyway ^^ if you go to Seychelles, La Digue is the place to be - without a question!

Mauritius instead felt much more authentic, people had a very laid back chilled vibe about them. Nature is more versatile and got the best of both worlds. Mountains, waterfalls, beaches and the street foods were soooo good!
