Gearbox & Primary drive - Ep.7 Stu takes a closer look

Описание к видео Gearbox & Primary drive - Ep.7 Stu takes a closer look

You just can't beat experience when it come to assessing the condition of engine parts. Given the severity of this gearbox failure combined with the long timeframe for parts to be supplied (it's a long way to NZ!) we need to be sure we order all the parts needed to get this old bike back to tip-top condition.

So, after speaking with Stu, a very well known motorcycle engineer based in the Southern part of the South Island, he was more than happy to spend some time going through all the old parts to make sure I hadn't missed anything....

All the various marks, cracks & damage is telling us a story & that story is quickly becoming a nightmare!!

Thanks to Stu for his time, I'm sure we will be seeing much more of this mechanical legend in the future.

Enjoy
Andy
