When you play as a Force Recon (and some Mechanic classes), there will be a side mission that you need to complete.
The task is to activate radar structures, find 7 radar buildings and activate them.
You need your Scout Training Lv.2(skill book), which contains the skills to activate the radar structure. Use it to find neutral towers that appear to be unarmed and activate them.
These 7 towers are located at the Mechanoids Facilites, Town, External Outpost, Old Teleporter, Barracks, Com Station, and Swamp.

If you can complete this mission, these towers will provide shared vision to all players, also grant all players experience to aid promotion, and are necessary to obtain medal requirements.
