ZSK Embroidery - new brushes in motors in catcher, picker and trimmer

The dc drive motors are a service item and do require work periodically.
We used to purchase replacement motors and then swap out the old unit with a new one, and have to spend time aligning and adjusting the cams again, an in exact process that took time as well.
The same motors are used for the catcher, picker and trimmer functions.
The motors are also very costly, when the failure is just worn brushes.
We also had concerns that an otherwise serviceable unit would be discarded, so were determined to figure out a service process to re-use these dead motors.
Eventually we located a supplier for similar replacement brushes, and we developed this replacement procedure for the worn units whilst still on the machine.
The brushes we but in are larger than required so we do hand shape them to suit these motors, and also cut in the retaining slot so the refit process keeps the brushes away from the armature as the re-fit occurs.
