講員: 約翰・華頓，希伯來協合學院舊約博士，專長在舊約希伯來及古代近東研究。目前執教美國惠頓學院大學及研究所，擔任舊約專任教授有十七年的時間。華頓博士著作等身，已出版約三十本書，內容涵蓋：註釋書，參考書，教科書，學術性專題著作，及學術論文等。華頓博士曾編輯NIV及NKJV版《文化背景研讀本聖經》舊約部分，其著作《失落的世界》系列廣為人知，也經常在全球各地進行專題演講。博士與妻子一起養育三位子女，都已長成並從事學術方面的工作。
