Описание к видео How Engineers Build Eco Friendly Structures | Dr Jawed Qureshi

Dr Jawed Qureshi explores how structural engineers are embracing sustainable materials to combat climate change. Watch as he introduces innovative options like:
• Sugar Crete: a low carbon block made from sugarcane waste developed at the University of East London
• Green concrete: cement substitutes using recycled fly ash or slag
• Engineered timber: strong, low impact frames common in Canada
• FRP (fibre reinforced polymer): lightweight, corrosion resistant material used in UK footbridges.
Learn how each material supports sustainable design and why they’re the future of eco friendly structural engineering.
